Using Google Calendar with Lira

What Lira can do

• List calendars you subscribe to so you can choose a calendar.
• Check free/busy availability for selected calendars.
• Read Calendar settings such as timezone preferences.
• Read events from calendars you own.
• Read events from public calendars.
• Create, update, or delete secondary calendars Lira creates.
• Create, update, or delete events at your request.
• Disconnect the Google account from Lira.

Data and scopes

Lira requests Google account identity scopes to identify the connected account, plus Google Calendar scopes for owned event management, public event reads, free/busy lookups, Calendar settings, subscribed-calendar listing, and app-created secondary calendars. This Calendar integration does not request Gmail, Drive, Calendar sharing, or broad all-calendar management scopes.

Use of your data

Lira uses Google Calendar data only to list calendars, check availability, read Calendar settings and events, and create, update, or delete calendars and events at your request. Lira does not sell this data, use it for ads, or use it to train generalized AI models.

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Calendar details may be included in your Lira conversation history when needed to show what Lira did and continue the conversation.

Disconnecting

You can ask Lira to disconnect Google Calendar. Lira attempts to revoke the Google token and removes the stored token from active use locally. You can also remove Lira from your Google Account permissions page.
